EVAN’S VISION
Evan Cather is a golf instructor based in NYC who teaches at The Turn - Golf Manhattan and Randall’s Island Golf Center. For 5 years prior, Evan taught golf in Miami as a master instructor at the Jim McLean Golf School based at the Doral Resort, home of the PGA Tour's WGC Championship. Golf Digest has ranked the Jim McLean Golf School among its top golf schools, and it’s considered by many to be the #1 golf school in the world.

His vision is to help students engage in a variety of golf lesson experiences and to give them the tools they need to be successful. He teaches everyone, including tour professionals and complete beginners, and he is fully committed to his students’ success. Evan teaches on the Trackman 4 Bodi Trak Pressure Mat and uses video analysis with every lesson! After taking a lesson with Evan, you will leave understanding how the club swings and how the body moves correctly during the swing. You will leave the lesson understanding how to practice moving forward and have personal drills prescribed for your golf swing.
